Comedy, Online Media and Obama Girls

Filed under: Comedy — Nichelle @ 10:47 am

I got up super early and went to the NYMieg Comedy and Online Media breakfast panel at the Samsung Experience Store at the Time Warner Center. I’m way too lazy to do a recap, but here’s a  recap from NYconvergence and here’s an interesting commentary by Bill Cammack.

By the way, Carolyn Castiglia, Michelle Buteau, Claudia Cogan and Susannah Perlman will be in Raleigh, North Carolina for their hilarious show, The Obama Girls of Comedy. If you are in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area, then go to the show on Monday.

Much as we love Ochi’s and Comix (shout out to Kambri Crews and Molly Mandel!), it will be fun to host our fabulous show in a larger venue once again. That said, be sure to come out and see the last show at Ochi’s THIS TUESDAY, MARCH 18! Details below. Spread the word!

Brotherly Love

Diana and I went upstairs after the last show and caught a bit of DJ Cipha’s “Don’t Get Gassed” series. I couldn’t help but snap a few pics of Rich Vos and Godfrey, who were both very funny. Bonnie McFarlane, aka Mrs. Vos, was in the house with their baby girl as well. Adorable!
