Some of our faves are in this new video from AOL including Sara Schaefer, Leibya Rogers (Mindy Raf) and Sue Galloway, plus our bud Jon Friedman and the amazing Perry Farrell of Jane’s Addiction. Enjoy!

The Poetry vs. Comedy/Chicks and Giggles mashup this Tuesday was a huge success, literally. 60 people filled the downstairs space at Mo Pitkin’s and had a raucous good time. Mad props to Leibya Rogers who was the winner of the event. Be sure to go to her CD release show on June 7th!

Murph Guide columnist Jackie Beach stopped by Chicks and Giggles on May 8, and loved the show. Katina Corrao guest hosted. I especially loved that she really gets what our show name means:
The show presents exactly what its name promises – women and laughter.

From L to R: Carolyn Castiglia, Kerri Louise, Lisa Landry, Jane Condon.

From L to R: Christen Clifford, Pat Candaras, the setup Downstairs at Mo’s, Michele Balan and Abbi Crutchfield.
Many thanks to our biggest fan Asa Williams for playing photographer.

I took this picture a few weeks ago in Harlem. The baths aren’t open anymore, but I love the signage. Honestly, who wants to get naked with dudes who can’t spell?

Congrats to Chicks regular Giulia Rozzi, whose first nationally published article “Splendor in the Grass” came out today in the June issue of Playgirl Magazine!
You can catch Giulia and her co-host Margot Leitman this Wednesday at Mo Pitkin’s in their monthly show, “Stripped Stories.” Last month’s show featured none other than our very own Nichelle Stephens as the “real person” on the show.
And don’t forget to check out CHICKS tonight! 8 pm, Mo Pitkin’s.
